Dr. Andre GantousDr. Gantous established his Facial Plastic Surgery practice in Toronto in 1994. Since then, he has specialized in a full range of facial cosmetic and facial plastic reconstructive procedures for both adults and children. He has achieved international recognition for his expertise in primary, revision and reconstructive rhinoplasty as well as facial rejuvenation surgery.

After graduating with top honors from medical school, Dr. Gantous completed a rotating internship and then spent a year providing medical care in an impoverished region of Mexico. He went on to complete a six-year surgical training program in Otolaryngology and Head & Neck Surgery and Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of California at Los Angeles and the University of Toronto.

During this time, Dr. Gantous developed his keen interest in facial plastic surgery and was the recipient of several awards and honors. Before starting his practice, he did a fellowship in adult Cranio-Facial Surgery in the Department of Plastic Surgery at the University of Toronto.

Dr. Gantous is on staff at St. Joseph's Health Centre and St. Michael's Hospital in Toronto. He is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery, Division of Facial Plastic and      at the University of Toronto where he has been nominated several times for and has been the recipient of the "Best Teacher of the Year" award.

Dr. Gantous is a diplomate (board certified) of the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and the American Board of Otolaryngology. He is also a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada, the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery, the Canadian Society of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery, the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the Canadian Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Gantous is active in these societies and is a frequent lecturer and speaker both nationally and internationally.

Apart from his medical and surgical activities, Dr. Gantous enjoys painting and drawing and tries to stay in good mental and physical shape by practicing martial arts and boxing. He is an avid reader and is fluent in Spanish, Italian and French. Dr. Gantous is married and is still kept very busy by his three growing children.
