Eyelid Lift Toronto
Blepharoplasty is the name of the procedure that deals with droopy and puffy eyelids.
Commonly known as an eyelift, it is really a combination of different procedures used to rejuvenate the aging upper third of the face. Some patients begin to notice some droopiness and changes in their eyelids in their late 20’s and 30’s , but most people will notice this in their 40’s and begin to seek help for this.

Upper blepharoplasty deals with the upper lids in order to improve loose and wrinkly skin and muscle with or without some of the underlying fat.
Lower blepharoplasty deals with the lower lid and can be performed through an incision on the inside of the lower lid – Transconjunctival blepharoplasty – or through a cut just below the eyelash line – Subcilliary blepharoplasty.
Dr. Gantous will explain the differences and indications of these procedures and what best suits you.
Blepharoplasty is often performed in combination with other procedures such as a Brow Lift, chemical peel or laser resurfacing. Please take a moment to look at our educational video to learn more about what to expect from a blepharoplasty.
